I know I am. No, I don't think an animal's life is more valuable than a human's life (we are all just animals anyways), but I also don't think humans are worth more than animals. Especially not to me. That's just speciesism. I personally enjoy my pets more than most people I know. So that means they are worth more to me than most people are. And would I choose my pet over a stranger? You bet I would. But not over my friends or my family. Also, what about smart non-human animals like dolphins? Are they worth less than humans (animals) too?
