We've Got Crazy In NC

I don't think much can be said about this story about Tim D'Annunzio, GOP candidate in the NC-8th. If this guy didn't actually have a chance of getting elected, this would be hilarious.

"In Hoke County divorce records, his wife said in 1995 that D'Annunzio had claimed to be the Messiah, had traveled to New Jersey to raise his stepfather from the dead, believed God would drop a 1,000-mile high pyramid as the New Jerusalem on Greenland and found the Ark of the Covenant in Arizona," the Associated Press reported.

Well, I guess I have made fun of South Carolina and Texas enough. Now it's our turn in the spotlight; the one that is shinning from the top of the hospital for the criminally insane.
