Really? That's how it is? Being a teenager, raped and then forced to carry a baby you didn't want, plan, or even know what the father's genetic contributions are (or worse, know that they're your father's), is akin to making lemonade? Well sign me up, because I fucking love lemonade!
Heartless bitch. Obviously she has no compassion, or common sense. And hopefully voters will be so disgusted by her lack of concern for other women that they keep her out of the Senate.
I guess in a perfect world this might be ok & everyone could enjoy a nice, tall, cold glass of lemondade, but this is not a perfect world & we are not perfect people. I do not like abortion & my heart goes out to any woman who has had to make that choice for whatever reason. I believe God creates life & He never expected us to mess things up so bad. However, people do horrible things to one another & I wouldn't want an innoncent woman, child for that matter, to have to ever go thru such a horrible ordeal but if she did I would hope that her decision would be just that, hers. I'm not pro-choice, as stated above, I don't like abortion but then again I don't like rape or incest either. In sad situations like the mentioned in the article sometimes you have to just let people decide for themselves & know their the one's having to live w/it.
ReplyDeleteTammy, if you think a woman should be able to choose whether or not she keeps the baby that's the result of rape, then that IS a pro-choice opinion. It's ok to be personally anti-abortion but publicly support abortion rights for women---the right for women to choose for themselves what's best for them, according to their own personal situations.
